Over the decades a spacious park like setting has been created with expansive views across the fertile Darling Downs. There is a large dam incorporated into the garden which creates a great homestead atmosphere. Trees dominate the long sweeps of lawn with various conifers, wilgas, olives and banks of the single pink oleander.

Set high on the hill opposite St Anne’s Anglican Church this garden was established by Mrs Ruttledge with the help of a very good friend of Enda Walling, Jocelyn Brown. The planning and plantings of this garden are superb with drifts of roses, tumbling bougainvillea, walls of perennials and shrubs all backed by the magnificent views across the plain.

A glorious family garden set in amongst the trees. Large areas have been created for entertaining friends, family and especially grandchildren. There is a tree house overlooking the tennis court which is also used for the kids bikes and skateboards. The fruit orchard and vegetable areas are huge and well planted during spring. The lovely older style home is set among the rambling gardens and trees creating a country sanctuary.
